Our Story

The genesis of NCCC began in 1975 when a few dozen people began meeting as a home group led by Chip and Becky Toews. By 1982, it became apparent that a new church vision was being birthed. So in addition to our home group fellowship, we began holding Sunday services at the Lions Club building in Millersville.

Soon thereafter, we adopted the name New Creation Christian Church. After joining a network of churches, ACM, six years later, and making significant changes toward becoming a community serving church, we changed our
name to New Covenant Christian Church.

During 1998 and 1999 various individuals and groups began
breaking off from ACM. Some emerged in less of a network format and more of a regional coalition relationship. In May of 2011 we entered a partner relationship with HarvestNet Inc., a regional network of churches and ministries, pursuing local network relationships for equipping resources, accountability and ministry partnership.
